Laser'D deck

so i thought you guys might dig this, i did a set of four decks over the summer for a gallery in seattle and just recently i finished another design that i thought would look dope for one last board. Well two were made and done up on a black and the other on a white punk deck, turns out that director kevin smith picked up the black one when he ran into the owner of 5280 at a meeting with XxX records and i got the other, hope you guys dig it. Female Dwarves can be cool :)

So Crystal and I were talking one day about how uncool females dwarves always come out. Situations like that become personal character design challenges to me... I become obsessed. So, the first thing I thought to do, was to try for some femininity. Went with wide hips, deep cleveage and an exposed belly button. Also, the battle-quilt idea is something I've been dying to try out. The armor had to be a bit clunky, so I decided to try some huge shoulder pads. Please excuse my lazy-ass coloring... just wanted to show the kind of scheme I envisioned.

Im james A.K.A snuffhouse, keith asked me to post some works on here, im a student in Orlando for digital media and i need some advice on this cover page for a small mock up mag we have to make this month based on the Obama and McCain race, this cover is what i have done thus far and if anyone has some tips or suggestions please let me know.

When I 1st meant Keith it was in 98 yep 10 years ago he was this cocky, judgemental, hyperactive dood who had no problem saying how he felt.....all that aside him and mr chaz are 1 of the reasons why i progressed as far as i did because they didn't hold back if they thought i did bad artwork or could do better. My bro K is often taking out of context for being as passionate as he is and you know what I wouldn't have it any other way cheers to you mate don't you ever change

Character_Design

Hey everyone, here's a pic i've done for a good buddy of mine (joe) whose breaking into fictional writing, maybe someday comicbooks too. His character's are very original, sassy, and so much detail you'd think the devil himself is in there-haha!

Joe wanted me to do a few character designs for him for his stories, unknow like visual references. The first one is the main character, her name is phoenix payne.

I had a lot of fun with her, it's a great exercise for me becuz i generally don't draw females often.

We'll have a few more coming, but for now here's the first.

And yes, its a phoenix bird on her arm. He likes crackers:P

Sketch Battle Magic Girl

There was once a young buck who decide to talk a little smack about an old sage.  Normally, the sage would ignore the silliness but that one day he drank way too much coffee and felt the inpatient desire to destroy the young buck.  And thus the young buck was humiliated in a span of 20 minutes.

The young buck undeterred demanded a rematch to happen in the next three weeks.  The old sage agreed if only to allow the youngster to a chance to redeem himself.  The theme was to drank a mutual friend in a magic girl costume and in a psuedo anime style.  The time limit...30 minutes.  The judge would be the mutual friend.

The young buck made a VERY critical flaw during the battle and it was too late to rectify.  He lost before it even ended.  His punishment?  To be displayed here for all to witness:

Gaia Art

I'm flexing my avie art skills on Gaia online! I did avie art at the request of a fellow Gaian and I decided to do myown avie art. My Gaia avie is hot schit. (Not to happy with the colours, but I'll work on it. I actually used refernce from my online avie, but meh). K2theimmy was happy with her avie art, so that's always a good thing. Fix It Doll

So, i was listening to the opening song from Beetle Juice the movie and I got inspired to draw something kind odd. It's my version of a doll. She's a fix it doll. (I'll eventually get around to making the creepy doll maker). Her fingers are made of nails and one thumb is an allen wrench and the other is a philips head screw driver. I basically have the layout set up as if it's going to be in portfolio. I am working on the coloured version. I have no idea what I am going to do with her as of yet, but I adore the design and the detail. (yuppers, she's in black and white).

Original Capcom Character part 2

Interesting idea.

Here's an original piece for you guys.  Gorin High gets a new recruit.  His style is slam it in your face every chance he gets.  While he nicknames himself as "Ace" others call him "Suicide Yamada" for putting his body in constant risk.  

Yeah.  I came up with that on the fly. I wonder who my inspiration could have been :-)

Original Capcom Character part 1

Ok, so Henry told me the next group topic would be to design an original Rival Schools character. Problem was that only five people actually know about that game, so we've broadened the scope to involve an original character to go in any Capcom game.

That being said, here's my Rival Schools character. His name's Ichi and he's the ace pitcher on the highschool team that rivals Shoma's team.

Here's my initial redesign of an old Marvel character, Ghost Rider 2099. I use to love this character and I hated how they treated him towards the end. I've tweek it since then but this will give you the basic idea of the overall design.

Cartoon Crossover part 4

While I was working on this, it reminded me of how I thought Futurama was gonna be just like Cowboy Bebop when people first started talking about it. Upon further reflection, I've come to the conclusion that the two shows are almost identical (aside from one being an american comedy cartoon and the other being a japanese action cartoon).
