Now this is well drawn. We may have to get your title changed to "At least he's trying"-Henry.

One thing, though...they don't have lunch ladies in Japan. All the food there comes from the Shinto slug gods.

I like the piece even in it's black and white stage. I'm not feeling the way her other arm is going behind her. with out colour to enhance it, it's hard to tell what it is. But the shading on the image is really nice and i like the facial expression and the position of the legs. Most of the lunch ladies at my schools were all old or bitter middle aged ladies who hated kids. Why they wanted to be a lunch lady is beyond me...

A lot of Japanese school have cafeterias, so you'll definitely fine on that front. But they'd have to be mid-age women and/or student assistant. And the legwarmers might be a stretch. That being said, it's a nice character piece.

Y'know when I first glanced at this I thought she had the Ghostbusters' ecto plasm backpack and she was holding the plasm ray. (I know the Ghostbusters' backpack is much thinner but I thought the roundness of Henry's design was his poor man's shortcut)I could tell she was school affiliated by the hair net though. So it was this weird combination for me. lol. Lunch lady exercising student demons or something.
