Hey everyone, here's a pic i've done for a good buddy of mine (joe) whose breaking into fictional writing, maybe someday comicbooks too. His character's are very original, sassy, and so much detail you'd think the devil himself is in there-haha!
Joe wanted me to do a few character designs for him for his stories, unknow like visual references. The first one is the main character, her name is phoenix payne.
I had a lot of fun with her, it's a great exercise for me becuz i generally don't draw females often.
We'll have a few more coming, but for now here's the first.
And yes, its a phoenix bird on her arm. He likes crackers:P

tis cool she has a mad max feel to her, the warrior woman look works well especially the hair I'd probably thicken the boots and gauntlets on her arm but then again i have no idea what her personality is supposed to be like...
